8. DeSantis looks a mite uncomfortable

You know that when the former guy promised federal help for something, he always wanted something in return. If he didn't think he was going to get anything, he'd simply leave the victims to fend for themselves as best they could, usually with a snide comment about their predicament.

DeSantis is sitting next to a President who isn't extracting promises, is doing what the federal government is supposed to do when Americans are in need, and who isn't blaming Floridians for their mess. How does he explain this to his lord and master at Mar-a-Lago?
