Can’t find the thread or I’d link it. I’m not surprised.

But reading this thread, one would think the board was teeming with it.

What is that about?

since Biden got elected for some reason. Instead of being happy that we control the executive, senate, and house, people are convinced that the end of democracy is here and there’s nothing we can do about it. Strange.

the basic institutions of democracy in this country since Biden got elected. Some of us have been noticing this. Only time will tell whether we can, or will, do anything to stop this process. I'm waiting to see what happens, though I can't say that I'm feeling very optimistic right now.

You are free to rake me over the coals for that if you feel like it.

When Obama was president. Doom and bloomers move in and started their "hair on fire" BS almost on a daily bases. Some of them left for another site, but it seems like they are back using the same tactics as before.

President Biden’s agenda should be progressing much more smoothly given the advantages you stated, but those two assholes are holding up a lot of legislation.

They keep saying, "But it's only 'fringe benefits!"

No, it's evading hundreds of thousands of dollars of taxes, and tax evasion is what put Capone in prison for the rest of his life.

than indictments.

Yeah, it's nice that TFG's business is in trouble, but rich (or seemingly rich) men tend not to get consequences for anything in our society. Add that he was once roosting in the Oval Office and it feels as if it will all go away. It feels like theater.

The SCOTUS thing is a big problem. We're not defeated, but the hill just got a lot harder to climb.

Maybe I have a sad person on ignore, but really, what are you talking about? Give us a link.

posting any doom and gloom.

And before the indictment was handed down, it was not radical to fear we might have had yet another disappointment.

But since the indictment was handed down, there has been ZERO gloom and doom about the indictment.

And certainly no one saying, "give it up" "we've already lost" and "it's all over"
