This is what marijuana has turned our community into

https://4newsplus.com/illegal-marijuana-grows-intimidation-harassment-violence-community-safety/?fbclid=IwAR25gHx4VFBhcfOFsu8b3lANa41mU7iM4aDD1SClm0Lf5ehG_ko9KEP8Jwk

These growers were trying to intimidate Harry for reasons only they know. Perhaps it was to keep him from doing all of the outdoor recreational activities he liked to do around his property. Maybe they wanted him to move so they could tap his water wells. Perhaps it was perceived retaliation for some grows that were taken down in the area just days prior. Whatever the case might have been, they wanted to send a message, and in doing so, they changed a man’s life forever. Harry is our neighbor.

What happened to Harry is not an isolated incident. Harry’s neighbors have been shot at while out riding their horses; they were riding too close to a grow. The growers had also tapped into their well, stealing water for their outdoor grows, and those same neighbors could not get to their house because growers had placed a barricade in the road leading up to their property–their home, leaving them afraid to return.

This is happening to our neighbors, the folks you see at the grocery store, sit across from at the diner, whose kids come over to play in your yard, who moved to this area because they wanted to feel safe.

Since the authorities aren't doing anything it isn't going be be long before the locals take matters into their own hands, people are tired of living like this.

These are run by the cartels, Asian organized crime and biker gangs, the pot is exported to states where it is still illegal, it is cheaper and safer than smuggling over international borders. They squat on some land and steal water, we have over 800 in our area and another 500 across the county line in Los Angeles county. Since we are rural areas with low population densities we get treated like crap, this would never be allowed to happen to communities in the coastal areas.

that part of the problem. State and local law enforcement as well. As for those exporting to illegal states, common sense national legalization would end that.

Our water table it being decimated, we will be overpaying to draw from the aquaduct next month. Bring in the bulldozers and take out the trash, we are in a major drought and these people need to be stopped.

Which is illegal and should be enforced.

Also it isn’t guns that kill people. People choose to use guns to kill people.

Republicans make that easy for them.

It sounds as though your personal position is logically consistent.

Which makes me wonder if there's something about long-term (MJ) expose and perhaps Saturnism disorders from their childhoods that makes them ultra paranoid and over the top crazy sometimes.

I'm a life long Dem, I'm 39 and smoked cannabis since I was 19. That's just a ridiculous assumption. And both my parents are registered Repugs. So, either I'm an outlier or your statement is wrong.

Sorry didn't mean to bite your head off, but people always blame cannabis for everything bad when it's involved.

I think you're reading into it that I'm making an absolute statement about society. The only people I know who do MJ are conservatives. Like you, I would have thought that wouldn't be the case, but it is.

And the fact that they're extremely paranoid and buy into the RW conspiracies as though they are fact, along with their more than probable over exposure to lead aerosols (Saturnism) growing up around firearms, loving firearms, worshiping firearms, etc..., leads me to conclude that they're damaged; their paranoid angry mood swings are probably beyond their control.

I live in Florida, where medical cannabis is legal. From what I can tell, it seems to be for the good.

with legally regulated greenhouses producing THC-standardized products.
