It seems there is no great logic and certainly little truth in anything Trump or his minions say. They just throw any irrational thing out there and if 10% of it works with his base, they will leverage that ongoing and quickly forget the other 90%. Clearly many forgive him ALL sins and stupidities so there is basically little downside to Dingbat Donald being just the way he is and has been.
