Trump Organization maintained internal spreadsheets that tracked the amounts it paid Weisselberg

The Trump Organization maintained internal spreadsheets that tracked the amounts it paid for Weisselberg's rent,, utility, and garage expenses. Simultaneously, the Trump Organization reduced the amount of direct compensation that Weisselberg received in the form of checks or direct deposits to account for the indirect compensation that he received in form of payments of rent, utility bills, and garage expenses.

or would, do that. If Weisselberg ripped off the government for only $94,902, it's doubtful he'll do a lot of jail time. With fines and paying back taxes, he'll have to write a big check. But doubt it will bankrupt him.

Sounds like Weisselberg is a fool.

See below, the $94,902 was just improper refunds.

Never mind, I see where you are getting it from, and you are wrong -- see:

The ~$94k was just a fraudulent federal tax refund he received due to his tax evasion, but that's only one portion of the hundreds of thousands in federal, state, and local taxes that he criminally evaded.

Who benefitted?

Weisselberg because he got income he didn't report?

Trump Org because they got to deduct more than they were allowed to deduct?

Both?

$556,385 in federal taxes
$106,568 in state taxes
$238,159 in New York City taxes
$ 94,902 in falsely claimed federal tax refunds
$ 38,222 in state tax refunds he wasn’t entitled to

= $1,034,236

for, you know, some people with a certain five-letter last name?

It sounds as if orange anus org may face liability if there's some sort of proof that the intent of providing the indirect compensation was to help him avoid taxes.

Does this imply that there may exist similar spreadsheets for tracking indirect compensation provided to orange anus family members?

Or is it primarily that this gives Justice a big stick to use to encourage Weisselberg to rat on the orange anus family?
