Where I'm coming from about the SCOTUS: of the six "justices" who voted today to

further weaken efforts to protect our right to vote, three were appointed by an illegitimate POTUS---Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barrett.

Of these three, the Gorsuch seat was stolen from President Obama by shameless bought-and-paid-for whores led by McConnell. Merrick Garland should be in that chair. As for Kavanaugh and Barrett, both of them joined a guy named John Roberts in 2000 to help shut down the Bush v. Gore recount in Florida.

So, three of the six votes to allow states to hamper voting were, at the least "tainted" by demonstrated prior bias and another should never have been appointed.

Is this an institution to be respected? Does respect no longer need to be earned?

Addendum: "Lots of people say" that Alito has a swastika tat on each cheek of his ass.

even so, there's a gang on the Court now UNINTERESTED in democracy, and they are followed by millions of 'citizens.'

they'd have found these restriction unconsitutional. . . the court gives not a crap for poor people. Poor minorities even less. These are people stuck fighting the 1960s culture war and supporting the clear losing side.

but it still packs a punch. I'm more surprised by my reaction, than the decision. We're in a strange land.

who stole an election in 2000.

Without Ralph Nader and Jill Stein, we would have a 7-2 liberal court.

How do you progressive purists feel about your decisions now?

Poppy Bush is the only Republican in the last 33 years that legitimately won. So (pains me to say it), Clarence Thomas is the only legitimate right-wing Justice.

championing a party that can't even get their shit together to get a single member of congress elected. Their quixotic runs are nothing more than publicity stunts and grifting opportunities.
