MSNBC on new voter laws

Andre Mitchell Reports on MSNBC, towards end of show, showed a graphic that showed Washington state, Oregon and California, in fact 48 states total, had enacted more restrictive voting laws. Best I know or can find, that is wrong. Did I miss something?

We here in Washington actually expanded access to voting this session with making it easier for former felons to vote.
I follow things like that pretty closely and I have no idea what she is talking about.

Don't you get 51 states?

I live in CA. We put the republicans totally out of power a few years ago. We haven't passed one of those laws.

They are not more restrictive to voters, they're more restrictive to local election boards.

6. She's trying to normalize the voter suppression laws by lumping them with good laws.

not that 48 states have passed them. But I was not listening very carefully.

8. That would make more sense. VT and IL both enacted laws that make it easier to vote
