"SNIP.....
A tweet made by Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) that downplayed the coronavirus pandemic on Wednesday was quickly deleted after receiving widespread pushback on the platform.
Known best for her promotion of far-right conspiracy theories, Boebert sarcastically claimed that the Delta variant of the coronavirus could be defeated by simply ignoring the media and voting for conservatives.

whatever the issue. It always goes back to that. Security nor science nor decency nor welfare nor health matter, only protecting the powers that be in the GOP.

(118,622 posts)will emerge. Right now it is Delta. Our vaccines are effective but what about children? What about africans? And then the next variant might break through pfizer and moderna and then we have to wait 10 months for the new pfizer vaccine meanwhile people are dying again. It is not just the willfully unvaccinated who get sick. It is billions.
