Needy Amin hosts campaign-style rally in Florida as he aims to feed his fragile ego

SARASOTA, Fla. (Reuters) - Former U.S. President Donald Trump will hold a rally on Saturday in Sarasota, Florida, his second campaign-style event of the summer as he seeks to retain his hold over the Republican Party and bolster allies ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.

The rally, billed as a Fourth of July celebration featuring fireworks, is expected to draw several thousand people from across the state which Trump, a Republican, won by more than 3 percentage points in the 2020 presidential election.

Trump is likely to berate President Joe Biden, repeat his false claim that he lost the 2020 election due to fraud, and urge his supporters to back his allies in their midterm campaigns as Republicans fight to take back control of Congress from the Democratic Party next year.

Jack Brill, chair of the Republican Party of Sarasota County, said he hoped the former president would use his speech to galvanize his supporters ahead of the midterms and the Florida gubernatorial race.

His goal will be to talk about some issue(s) that will fire up his base, similar to the January 6th insurrection.

He will tell them how they are being victimized, first of all, by those dirty Democrats stealing the election from them.

He will mention the sacred 2nd Amendment.

He will repeat the mantra that "if they want a country, they will have to fight for it".

His primary purpose will be to prepare them for battle.

He remains a threat to our national security.

Super spreader variant petri dish. Maybe Melanoma can get a job at the Sarasota Itchy Kitty strip club. (Kudos to the Stephanie Miller Show)

The only way he can "galvanize" the GOP is if the GOP decides the only issue that matters is him him him.

They've got no vision, no policy concerns, no plans. It's really like the party exists only to get him "reinstated." What's weird is, they know it will never happen, that they're bound to fail. It's like they are furiously chaining themselves to an anchor.

So it's not entirely crazy of them to think he could run and win again in 2024, esp. with all the voter suppression shit they're putting in place.

In August, lol.

I hope by 2024 he is in prison or gaga or both. And I hope the GOP doubles down and nominates Jr. Only he might be in prison too!
