Private review in WI... Someone needs something to do with their life

A Wisconsin man is scanning ballots and suing a county clerk as he launches his own election review

Anderson said Bernegger asked to review the more than 3,000 ballots cast in Westport. Bernegger and three others spent about four hours there last month scanning copies on equipment they brought with them, Anderson said.

What equipment? Was there an audit of his "equipment" before his "review?" Will there be one afterwards?

Why would anyone have any faith at all in this? Counts, recounts, audits (real ones) tell them they lost. But this review by someone who probably has no experience with elections is supposed to prove that the election results are bogus.

I hope this country starts investing more in mental health care. It's obvious these folks need it.

as is stated in the article.

A New London man has been making copies of ballots [snip]

Dane County has posted images of every ballot cast in November on its website. Bernegger didn't say why he wanted to make his own copies instead of using those.

Perhaps it's just lack of clarity in the article, but given poll workers were required to oversee the process in at least one instance and he had to pay them, it sounds like he got access to actual ballots.

Of course not, silly. Since the pre-filled ballots were imported from China, they've finally realized they should be looking for rice. Or at least traces of szechuan sauce.
