Big Pharma is directly threatened by legalized (medicinal) cannabis. They would lose millions in revenue if American adults could choose an herbal/natural remedy for pain, insomnia, and a plethora of other conditions for relief.

And Big Pharma has generously lined the coffers of Congress members for decades. Their lobbyists' numbers are on these public servants' speed dial, who'd drop everything to take their calls.

Until that changes, it's bu$ine$$ a$ u$ual.

Or people losing their jobs or benefits from drug tests, which are notoriously unreliable.

Meanwhile, the projected societal destruction from legalized marijauna does not seem to have materialized.

the torture endured in our jails and prisons, the brutality and lawlessness of our police, the racism towards blacks, being

blacklisted from federal money for educational grants, food stamps and housing.

This country's stance on cannabis is criminal.

This fucking country is insane.

And this guy in it, he was puffing some kind of cigarette like thing and his eyes got wide and he got a strange wild look on his face

And I think he ended in jail.

I think the stuff was marijuana and if that’s what it does to people like my grandkids, we should have no part in it.

the third time you visited the guy who sold you weed, he would sell you heroin. And after using it once, you would be an addict.

I've been smoking weed for over 50 years and I've never been in the same room with heroin. Two different worlds.

The movie was an attempt to create a narcotics scare and, in particular, to paint marijuana as a narcotic that
was as dangerous as heroin and cocaine. Anyone who has seen this movie knows it's basically fiction.
