I’m somewhat familiar with the rural white south. My family’s small parts in Louisiana and Arkansas. And my future home in Florida. That kind of language to neighbor’s children would be highly socially sanctioned. Maybe not in some areas. But certainly where my family lives.

Now my family is not poor, although by no means rich. So maybe in poorer white areas it happens. But I found it the most shocking thing on the video.

Drunk folks blowing up a truck, nothing surprising there anywhere in the country. But using that language to kids is not something I’ve ever heard of.
