8. Sorry but I may be the minority here

first the holiday is OVER! When I as working I neither had all of the days off that the journalists on cable have off nor did I make the kind of money they do to warrant so much time off. It is time the regular evening crew was BACK! I put many extra hours in as a university professor that I was never paid for so sorry.....no tears for cable journalists.

Rachel Maddow also works a lot outside of the show hour. She does a lot of research including often reading entire books written by the people she has on so she can be more informed in questions asked .

She also comes in when not scheduled if there is some breaking news where her opinion would something people want to hear.
