and still won by like 12 points. Given that and that this district elected Mark Meadows, I don't have much confidence in taking this seat.
The republicans we hate the most can be awful because they are fairly safe to act that way in their districts.

There's a reasonable chance Cawthorn could be primaried, making it an open seat.

I'd have it as an R favored, especially in a midterm after winning the WH. District is too rural and way too white for me to feel great about it.
It's not a lost cause or anything like some races that get lots of money are, but I'd need some show me in the polls and real support from DNCC before I'd buy in.
