Dan Price: There's no labor shortage. There's a shortage of jobs with a living wage & basic benefits

Dan Price
@DanPriceSeattle

Our business has a $70k min wage, a median wage close to $100k, full benefits, 3% 401(k) grants & unlimited paid parental leave.

We've had over 300 applicants per job opening this year.

There's no labor shortage. There's a shortage of jobs with a living wage and basic benefits.

Wonder how many jobs would be outsourced to Mexico, China, Vietnam or India though?

He made no mention, implicitly or explicitly of raising the minimum wage to $34/hr.

You probably (and inaccurately) projected the example of his pay schedule he set for his company onto the totality.
