Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is upset at Democrats for exposing past Republican votes that defunded the police across America.

In an op-ed published on FoxNews.com, Cruz lamented how Republicans now have to be on the defense on the hot-button issue.

“Jen Psaki blamed Republicans for defunding the police last week, it wasn’t spin – it was gaslighting,” Cruz complained, comparing hard data about his party to serial lying.

Cruz was reacting to an exchange between White House Press Secretary Psaki and Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy, in which Psaki noted, “Republicans spent decades trying to cut the COPS program. There’s record of that.”

Psaki also pointed out that no Republicans voted for the 2021 American Rescue Plan, which provided funds for police around the country to deal with crime issues.

everyone of their former talking points (no police support by dems, a lie, economy will go into a tail spin, a lie (obvious one too), every talking point that they tried to pin on democrats has failed). The gop attempting to whitewash their actions legislatively is failing miserably...and their leader in FL, still hiding in FL for the most part, and who occasionally comes out from underneath his rock mouthing off the same crap isn't doing them any good, as his 'cult' is drifting away more and more.
