4. He has the largest amount of political experience and he is familiar with the NYPD.

The NYPD will be a key problem area that needs to be addressed in the right way, Adams seemed to have had the most logical plan for addressing problems in that Agency.

As an outsider (as opposed to your situation as a City resident), I like his plan on bringing back rational stop and frisk, without the past abuse. I don’t want, like a situation that happened recently, to be visiting and get hit by a bullet wildly fired during some pathetic turf war. Anyone wearing a winter jacket on a 85 degree day either has serious medical issues, or is up to no good, IMO.

6. He became an NYPD Police Captain after being beaten and arrested as a teen

by NYPD officers. While in the NYPD he founded a network of Black NYPD officers to push for reform within that Agency.

Like I said, I am an outsider, but I like the guy’s resume and real world experience in areas that should be a focus of the next Mayor.

We're a Democratic city, but not a super-liberal one like Portland.

3. The AP called the race for Adams. Too few votes left for Garcia to catch up.

We don’t need a drawn out contest there, people should concede and move on to help Adams win the General.
