It's impossible for the average citizen to actually assess what happened at each round—which first choice candidates threw their votes to which second choices, etc. etc. etc.

I was at a farmer's market this weekend when a guy approached advocating for ranked-choice voting in my state. I said "hell, no."

....Garcia and Yang were campaigning together in the hopes of getting 1st or 2nd choices from more voters. It's crazy.

Seems like it would take a lot longer for the lines to move when people are trying to decide who to rank in what order when there are several candidates

race.. my niece has a practice there.. and I lived in NY for 12 years.

That was close.. I don't know much about Eric Adams, though.
