1. I still do not like rank choice voting

3. I don't either. For me the worst is open primaries, but ranked choice voting is pretty close

4. Too many moving parts, too little transparency

It's impossible for the average citizen to actually assess what happened at each round—which first choice candidates threw their votes to which second choices, etc. etc. etc.

I was at a farmer's market this weekend when a guy approached advocating for ranked-choice voting in my state. I said "hell, no."

6. There can be sanctioned collusion between candidates. The last weekend before the primary....

....Garcia and Yang were campaigning together in the hopes of getting 1st or 2nd choices from more voters. It's crazy.

Seems like it would take a lot longer for the lines to move when people are trying to decide who to rank in what order when there are several candidates

race.. my niece has a practice there.. and I lived in NY for 12 years.

That was close.. I don't know much about Eric Adams, though.
