(18,289 posts)pretending they're only doing some kind of investigative journalism about Trump's insanity. Enough already, we all know he's nuts. Stop feeding the monster.
peggysue2
(12,488 posts)Why give the insanity oxygen? He is no longer the president (thank God). This is not a WH press conference despite the obvious setup to the contrary, and Trump suing his perceived enemies is not news. Tump has spent a lifetime filing frivolous suits and stiffing those working for him.
The whole thing should be shutdown for lack of interest!

(63,221 posts)YOU. ARE. NOT. THE. PRESIDENT!

(3,410 posts)In a word, "No."
He's in too deep. His only way out of the Trump Org. mess (while also picking up some shekles along the way) is to win in the court of public opinion. And he'll keep amping up the crazy to divert from his real sleeze being exposed. He knows full well he subverted the law.

Moostache
(11,134 posts)He is the two-time popular vote loser, the twice-impeached, one-term FORMER president. He is technically the 45th President of the United States of America forever...but that label is no longer necessary in context of the nation having ELECTED, CONFIRMED THE VOTE TOTALS and SWORN IN the 46th President of the United States of America, thus relegating the former president to irrelevancy.
His "rights" have not been violated any more than mine. We are BOTH banned from Twitter, me for wishing he would have a fatal stroke, and he for fomenting insurrection and spreading lies about the 2020 vote. Both cases are technically against the terms of service agreement that neither of us read when setting up an account. I had one of the first 1,000 Twitter accounts (and from 2006 to 2015, it went almost completely unused outside of initial use as a replacement for America Online IMs (AIM) at a time when that company was imploding).
Bottom line is the First Amendment does not mean what he and his horde of semi-literate cult members want to believe it does. There is NO guarantee of access to services when you violate the TOS for said services...and it is NOT a political 'witch hunt' either...
In closing, I would STILL like to wish former one-term, two-impeachment ex-government housing squatter Trump a fatal stroke on camera with the coup de gras of an unconscious face plant into a concrete barrier thus busting open his melon and revealing the lack of internal contents.
