He was somewhat lucky tonight in that domestic issues dominated without much time on foreign policy, when the foreign policy did come however it was Mitt's biggest disaster of the night. Next week it is all foreign policy and Willard is completely ignorant on foreign policy. Don't be surprised if he promises to declare war on France before the end of the debate.
