A Florida man who set up a GoFundMe for former President Trump’s border wall has now been indicted on tax charges, the IRS said Thursday.

Brian G. Kolfage of Miramar Beach could face up to 20 years in prison.

He was charged with two counts of filing a false tax return and one count of wire fraud related to the electronic filing of his 2019 tax return in Florida.

He also faces a separate federal indictment out of New York for fraud and money laundering related offenses, prosecutors say.

With his tax returns, Kolfage “engaged in a scheme to defraud the government,” authorities say.
