A Jewish man was hurt after an unhinged assailant threw broken pieces of furniture at him during an unprovoked anti-Semitic clash on a Brooklyn street, video released by police Friday shows.
F-----g Jew! Why are you coming into my neighborhood? the unidentified suspect screamed as he chucked pieces of a broken dresser drawer at his 25-year-old victim on Martin Luther King Jr. Place in Bedford-Stuyvesant Monday.
The victim, who was wearing traditional Jewish clothing, was nearing Marcy Ave. about 11:30 a.m. when the suspect, who was walking ahead of him, was caught on a surveillance camera grabbing a dresser drawer left on the curb for a trash pickup and smashing it on the sidewalk.
The man picked up a piece of the broken drawer, then turned and threw it at his victim as he hurled his ethnic epithets, cops said.
