It has always been about RU mafia & Putin's boss Semion Mogilevich, hasn't it.
Once considered the most dangerous man in the world.
No doubt that Donald Trump would belong to them.
No doubt Paul Manafort, fresh off Putin's Ukraine electioneering 'job' with Tad Devine, was sent in at the Repub Convention to run Trump's campaign.

Its not that complicated when the timeline reads as it does.
Magnitsky Act was a crucial vote in the game of interrupting the mob.
It was a necessary YES vote for Magnitsky global.

The House passed it by a vote of 365-43, and the Senate passed it by a vote of 92-4.

Magnitsky was crucial to reaching a unifying accord with our foreign allies, to combat the reach of Semion Mogolevich & his International Criminal Enterprise.

Anyone voting against Magnitsky is suspect as to who they were aiding or signalling alliance to.
Magnitsky was quite clear as to it's purpose.
