The CPAC organizers have chosen to play along with trump as ruffling his feathers will cut their future attendance, GOP backing and ability to fund raise off the many trump-fueled conspiracy theories.

Call me paranoid, but I honestly think that they will force themselves into leadership in all three branches of government unless we start holding them accountable and making them suffer the consequences of their actions. The biggest problem they've got is the electorate, at least the part that isn't driving around in pickup trucks with Trump flags zip-tied to the stake rack holes, knows by now that the GOP is completely full of shit. They know the Democratic Party is less horrid than the Republicans. They know Trump legitimately got his ass kicked in November 2020.
