Vaccination frustration

My wife and I have both been vaccinated since May. Our daughter 33 year old is still not we have asked several times first the excuse is it is to new, now it some people have issues with lymph nodes swelling and dying from it. I have pretty much narrowed down the culprit on who is feeding her the bullshit. It is her house manager at work she works at a developmentally disabled housing facility. The kicker is she works with older residents the whole center only has a vaccination rate of 41 percent for employees. Our general population rate in our county is 50 percent. It is a big facility of many houses but their hands are tied until the vaccine is fully approved to compel the employees. They were even giving 100 dollar bonus checks for vaccination.

We babysit her daughter mostly my wife, she retired just before she was born a happy coincidence Jan 2020 she retired, our granddaughter was born in Feb 2020. As the new delta variant seems to be infecting more children I brought it up again last night as usual she got defensive. I cant make her get vaccinated we have taken to making her wear a mask when she comes over which again she plays the victim like she is being persecuted. Not sure of my point here I am just so frustrated, the only people we deal with in our lives that are not vaccinated is her and her boyfriend his family is a bunch of trumpers we don't have much to do with.

I am just soooooooo sick of the stupid! There is a real possibility of a resurgence of covid with the new delta variant because of these idiots

Rant over thanks.

Stop babysitting for her and she can't again come to your house until she is vaccinated.

I know that you probably don't want to do that - but it might be the only way you can get through to her.

Sorry.

I really do not want to use our granddaughter as a pawn. It may come down to that but I hope not.

ugh, sorry. I had to kind of wait out my youngest son - the girlfriend is ok, but her mother is a full on q nut job. they are both vaccinated fully now and her oldest daughter got her first shot last week (the kid is smarter than any of us, LOL)

She has let slip that her manager Devon said this and Devon said that. They spend a lot of time together at the job. Most of her boyfriends family is vaccinated they just happen to be trumpers.

She is susceptible to peer pressure most at her job are not vaxxed yet, though her best friend recently did after her family told her no visits or vacations until she did. So maybe the door of reasoning will open.

We babysit, she is not allowed to attend any functions at the house that we host, besides pick up and drop off our granddaughter.

She knows when I say something I am serious, she will whine and play the victim but she knows how far to push.

she gets fully vaccinated. See how she reacts to that.

At least she is being honest in saying that she is not vaccinated.

My housemate and I are babysitting for her great grandchildren. Parents are all vaccinated as are we. But if they weren't, we wouldn't be babysitting.
