Just saying. I bet Nikole Hannah Jones' and Ta Nehisi Coates' classes are already full. LOL

Gosh I remember those days of trying to register for classes in a big ol room , when we did it on paper, and getting frustrated with not getting into the class I wanted for that semester. LOL

I am happy for the students at Howard who will have this amazing opportunity.

I also remember class registration in the old days. You'd sign up on a list, and if you got to the registration table and the list had already filled up, there might be a few spaces on the waiting list but otherwise you were SOL. If your name was toward the end of the alphabet (as mine was), you might not get anything you really wanted.

This really seems extreme and a harbinger of what is to come: veteran (and tenured) high school teacher and baseball coach dismissed from school after he assigned a Ta-Nehisi Coates essay and poem about white privilege.

There's probably a long waiting list. If I were a student there, I'd camp out the night before registration. And I'd still be too late, I bet.
