A 7-point-plan to reinstate TFG as president 'in days, not years' was handed out at CPAC

Attendees of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Dallas have been handed cards outlining a 7-point-plan to reinstate Donald Trump as president 'in days, not years.

Forbes reporter Andrew Solender posted an image of the card on Twitter.

The cards seemed to have been made by a group called Patriots Soar, which was not affiliated with the event organizers.

The outlandish plan involves ousting House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and eventually installing Donald Trump in her place.

absurd and laughable, but these seditionist pose an extreme danger to what remains of our democratic republic. The Biden administration (especially the DOJ) and Dem leadership needs to be much more aggressive in combatting these threats. After January 6th, this should have been the top priority!

To say nothing of drafting articles of impeachment in the House to begin with. Oof.

do not want to bleed out in the streets after a truly armed insurrection attempt. Most are cowards who would run from their first firefight. And if they don't...well the consequences are theirs to live and die with. God, I despise these POPS.

First of all, Pelosi is speaker until noon on Jan. 3, 2023, barring death or resignation. Even if that were to happen, the Democrats still have a majority in the House and her likely replacement will be a Democrat.

Next, they need to somehow make Trump the new speaker before any impeachment takes place, so step 5 has to come before step 4 and probably step 3. And if they try to put in an interim speaker for some reason, why would that person - especially if it's Kevin McCarthey - give up such a powerful position to salve Trump's ego? I don't think putting in a new speaker, having them do all the heavy lifting, and then handing the whole thing over to Donnie is going to fly. And Donnie certainly isn't capable of drafting the articles himself - or of doing any other work for that matter.

Lastly, removing a president from office does not automatically invalidate any laws they might have signed - at least it didn't with the one case of a voluntary resignation. Again, that requires actual work.

TFG will not be eligible, per the constitution, to run again in 2024 as he will have served his own full term plus more than half of another. That darned 22nd amendment gets in the way!
