First, FB is valued at >70% of DB's asset base. They literally don't have enough capital & liquidity.
Second, several execs lost their jobs because of the stupidly granted loans. A couple are in legal trouble.

much less buy up a significant amount of Facebook class A and B shares. Particularly the 10 vote class B. Much of that is owned by "I wish I was a real boy!" Zuckerberg and other insiders. Facebook market cap hit $1 trillion recently, so even if most of the shares were held by institutions and what not, it would still be an herculean lift.

On a side note....$1 trillion market cap controlled by a handful of people. That's fundamentally dangerous and wrong on numerous levels.
