The Susan B. Anthony silver dollar pre-dates the Sacagawea by 21 years. First minted in 1979, it was derisively known as the "Carter Quarter". Even though it is as much larger than a quarter as a quarter is than a nickel, it is still too easy to confuse it for a quarter and accidentally spend it.

The gold colored dollar coins fixed that problem, and the Sacagawea yielded to the Presidential gold coins, which returned old dead white men to their proper place on the front of our money.

I'm quite curious to see if some heads will actually literally explode when the Harriet Tubman $20 comes out.
