There are definitely real believers of the Big Lie out and about in the world. Some of them, even saddled with that kind of gullibility, will be able to find their way into positions of influence in right wing politics.

Others, of course, are cynical grifters and power seekers who know they're selling a lie and simply don't care.

I imagine there are a few who are a bit in between, having doubts about the Big Lie, but running with it despite those doubts, for either personal gain or a misguided sense of a righteous cause.
