"SNIP.....
A Newsmax host suggested that coronavirus vaccines may be against nature, and asked a university professor if some deadly diseases are supposed to wipe out a certain amount of people, The Hill reports.
Said host Rob Schmitt: Obviously, Im not a doctor. But Ive always thought about vaccines, and I always think about just nature and the way everything works. And I feel like a vaccination in a weird way is just generally kind of going against nature.
He added: Like, I mean, if there is some disease out there maybe theres just an ebb and flow to life where somethings supposed to wipe out a certain amount of people, and thats just kind of the way evolution goes. Vaccines kind of stand in the way of that.

(5,067 posts)so do antibiotics, anesthesia, and aspirin, not to mention most modern conveniences and technologies.
Perhaps he would like to be handed a spear for hunting and move into a cave.
Is that not the intent of modern life, to blunt the impact of nature, like say when 4 million humans
have died?

(47,405 posts)The whole idea behind vaccines is to "go against nature".
It's funny, all these people who don't believe in evolution, sure do believe in survival of the fittest when it suits them.

(47,405 posts)They just adjust "facts" to fit their narrative and they can just as easily change them again tomorrow. After all, that's what Trump did for four years.

(33,643 posts)But so does ripping many millions of pounds of fossil fuels out of the ground DAILY and using them to fuel the existence of 6M+ people on this planet, when really the earth should support 1/3 that, at most.
As do all kinds of other things humans have/use/do, like antibiotics, dental care, Rx drugs, and surgeries.
Picking out vaccines to whinge about specifically is a bit perverse, but these are weird people we're talking about.

(19,233 posts)And pay close attention to all the headstones of dead children and women who died birthing them. Or the clusters of family that died within weeks of each other from disease outbreaks
There's a reason people had so many kids. Half wouldn't survive to their 10th birthday.
Thank God for our unnatural modern medicine.

"Vaccines kind of stand in the way of that."
Without vaccines, diseases like smallpox and polio would still be running rampant and the average life span would be less than 50 years. Is that what you want?
These people are stupid beyond belief.
