DeWitt PD officer Rory Spain has been placed on paid administrative leave after violently punching a handcuffed Tyreana Edmonds in Walmart. Ofc. Spain chose to inflict further chaos & forego his police training rather than de-escalating the situation!

The lady who was arrested and her sister were on video attacking and pepper spraying other customers.
I think there are a lot better examples of police racism and brutality out there.

She was restrained and posed no danger to the officer. The police are not there to give out physical punishment on the spot. That's what courts, judges and juries are for.

She was no where near biting him when he hit her. She could have been seriously injured (maybe she was) or evn killed. Stupid move.

If her lawyer has a case for damages, he/she should go ahead.
I'm just not outraged that a woman who was physically attacking customers, causing property damage, and trying to bite a police officer got punched in the head, and as a white guy, I expect the same would happen to me.
There are so many police brutality videos that get me upset. This ain't one of them.

She and her sister physically attacked and pepper sprayed other customers. She was kicking and destroying everything within reach as she was being apprehended, struggling with the cop the whole time.

The woman in white was leaving the store and then the cop goes and puts his hands on her. Why? Was she under arrest? If not, then why was he attempting to detain her? Not ok for hin to put his hands on her if she wasn’t under arrest and that is something people NEED to remember.

Seems to me the cops pretty much did all they could to just make the situation go away without anybody even getting arrested.

There are a lot of shitty cops out there doing a lot of shitty things to folks. But, this isn't an example of that.
