Aristus
(71,876 posts)One of Patrick Stewart's best early bits of acting is the scene in I, Claudius in which Sejanus appears before the Senate to hear what he thinks is a letter of promotion from Tiberius, only to discover to his horror that the letter calls for Sejanus' execution.
The look of growing disbelief on his face is marvelous to watch.
As good as that show was, when he was on camera I couldn't watch anyone else. He was brilliant. And he had hair.

(58,373 posts)Patrick is so good at what he does - and can do intense drama and crazy-ass humor with equal perfection.
The things that American Dad has had him say crack me up not just because they're funny as hell, but because it's Patrick Stewart saying them.
