Lightning kills 18 people taking selfies at watchtower in India
Lightning killed 18 people as they were taking selfies of a storm near a watchtower in Jaipur, India, on Sunday.
BBC reported there were 27 people at the top of the 12th-century Amer Fort, a popular tourist attraction, when lightning struck.
Some victims lept to the ground, and local law enforcement officials reported that most of them were young people.
Video captured by Reuters TV partner ANI showed empty shoes left by the dead.
