are related. Republicans or whoever they are, are driven mad by their fear so are seeking fascistic solutions.

The rest of us are trying to solve it.

What we're seeing is big oil paying a lot of money for propaganda that keeps the political debate on anything other than the need to start shifting demand away from their product. As the obviousness of the need to do something about climate change increases, the more hysterical, brutish and insane the distractions become.
