" it's not enough!!"

You know, the ones who keep moving the goal posts just to oppose Biden & his wiser Democrats.

Because they'd rather burn the whole thing down than agree with President Biden.

We know Manchin's game.

Its the others that are likely to whine about something in this pkage.

🙄

Of both the mis-characterized "wisdom" and who will be doing the whining. One should wait and see before making such pronouncements. And worry A LOT MORE about who is pissing away the chance to stop republiqon election cheating. Some don't mind the prospect of permanent "R" rule. I wish they'd realize the graveness of that mistake.

I have no idea who will whine 1st or loudest.

so it's not much of an assumption.

I think that since there was a deal made, it will be supported. That amount is not insignificant, and I thank those who asked for MORE and insisted on MORE for the fact that it did NOT end up being a ~500B amount to coddle the R's.

Because that's how a lot of Democratic negotiations ended up in the past. Remember?

but there are other things in the Senate than legislative votes. Are you excusing his support of tRump nominees and blocking Biden's?

And that doesn't take into account the legislative votes that are never held because republicons say "no".

Then there's this at the top of that link:

June 22 Expanding voting rights and strengthening campaign finance regulations and ethics rules (50-50)
support

Yes
0.1% +99.9

The c/p isn't the best, but according to that, Biden's position on that issue is YES, Manchin's expected support is 1/10 percent with 99.9 margin.

I can cut Manchin some slack on some issues, but not the republicon voter suppression. If people aren't allowed to vote, know that their vote is counted, and that the results can't be overturned by "local republicans", there is no real hope for the future. And that's what Manchin & Sinema are standing in the way of.

S1 must be passed so Biden can sign it into law. Now.

Wonder what Biden will gift Manchin with in the high stakes negotiations.
Manchin & Bernie play the same game.
Not good nor bad, just how it is when the deals are cut.

Surely we can kick that can down the road to the next generation while we feed like hogs on our fossil fuel investments. They just want to make Biden look bad.

Sure seems like Manchin is on board as long as it's paid for.

And this would take time to come together and be scored before it could be voted on, seems a way off right now.

Our margin of error is small in that chamber as well, and 3.5 trillion will require some significant tax increases
