I was installing a garbage disposal for an old lady this morning. In the 10 minutes she had Fox news on, the 3 morons discussing recent events used the term 'civil war' at least a dozen times. Is this what Fox is pushing now? "Democrats are going to start a civil war"?

(34,407 posts)maybe they see it within their reach, and have to start shifting the blame elsewhere. Do a little pre-emptive white-wash. The red states are doing all they can to start a confrontation with the federal government, and/or Democrats. Fox just reads off the script.

(7,794 posts)It'll have to wait until September. I've got a doctor's visit the last of August. Maybe even after that because the dog has a veterinarian appointment in early October. Sorry, I just can't see a civil conflict until after the holidays.

(11,040 posts)We're in a kind of a cold civil war now. Mostly a rhetorical civil war, by the right. What does it take to be a full blown civil war? I don't see that happening. Just an attempt at a power grab by red states, and an openly lying Republican party, all part of their cold civil war.

(479 posts)It will be more like Ireland more mass shootings, random bombings no defined lines with more "Security" everywhere if you can't sell people on war in other places on the planet. Sell them on war here you get to cut down on transport costs.

(4,090 posts)The current animosity is due to (as though) the attack on Fort Sumter; the uncivil tribe has delivered the first and continuous attacks on truth, justice, and the American way (as well as Captain America, himself).

(14,198 posts)This is not news. This is scaring and inflaming the public.
Add: if the Republicans keep it up, I don't think it's going to be a civil war, but a full blown revolution.

(18,171 posts)a license isn't required to operate on cable, satellite or the internet, so, no license to lose and the FCC has zero authority to regulate content on those 3 venues.

(18,171 posts)which have nothing to do with Faux Snooze.
I watch Fox programs all the time, like Family Guy, and other programs on the Fox affiliates, they are nothing like Faux Snooze.
The bottom line is that there is no license to pull from Faux Snooze.
