STOCKTON (CBS13) – For passengers on Allegiant Airlines flight 161, an hour-long flight turned into a 17-hour journey.

“It was absolutely horrible,” said Jade Watts, who was flying from Vegas to Stockton.

The flight was scheduled to arrive at Stockton Metropolitan Airport on Monday night at 9:30 p.m. They got in on Tuesday at 2 p.m.

This was in 2005 and this was still allowed. Afterwards they made a law that this was not allowed. There was a line waiting to take off, there were no weather problems. We couldn't use the bathroom either. No $$$ reimbursement or help with missed connecting flights. The airlines are terrible, greedy businesses. They got away with tons of shit and still do.

When I was growing up flying was so much fun and such a special experience. Now they all suck. No body I know who travels a lot ever has anything positive to say about their trips on planes.

In fact, I was not only in diapers but a full body cast. She was flying from Alaska to Salt Lake. When the plane landed one of the stewardesses went out to look for my aunts telling them to come on to the plane and help my mom off as she was unable to move!

She didn't have her luggage and this was before disposable diapers so you do the math. Poor thing.
