to water quality than walking by the City Attorney's house and spotting a dozen office cooler-size jugs of water on his driveway.
As long as I lived here, this city has had no interest in proper government. It speaks with a forked tongue.

Here in St Petersburg there seems to be an outbreak of Red Tide and the city has already trucked over 600 tons of dead fish from the city shorelines. DeSatan hasn't issued a dec of emergency to help pay for the collection or disposal of said fish.
The stench is affecting the downtown tourist attractions and restaraunts while we wait for some kind of action.
I was thinking you were in NPR or Port Richey.

(57,080 posts)... there had been a red tide before we got there, and there was still a little left. One morning, my youngest (around six) daughter came into the room, shoulders down and weeping.
"What's matter, Sally?"
"Everything .... is .... dying ..."
The tide had brought up some small dead fish.
I think there could be a campaign made wrapped around a photo of those bottles lined up on the driveway. "Guess who has a drinking problem?"
