Josh Hawley Forced To Admit On The Record "Joe Biden Is The Legitimately-Elected POTUS"

https://hillreporter.com/watch-josh-hawley-forced-to-admit-on-the-record-joe-biden-is-the-legitimately-elected-potus-107016

Not every Republican is willing to promote the Big Lie, but not many are eager to call it out. Only a handful of conservative elected representatives are willing to say, publically at least, anything that risks upsetting Donald Trump. However, Fox News‘ Bret Baier pressured Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) to give an honest answer, and go on the record recognizing Joe Biden as the duly-elected President of the United States.

On January 6th, Congress met to certify the electoral vote in the 2020 election. Despite an attack by angry Trump supporters, they reconvened after the Capitol Building was cleared, and moved forward to finish the job. While many Republicans decided that, after this violent attack, continuing to contest the election would be inappropriate, Hawley was one of several who still objected to the outcome, forcing debate.

When he appeared on Fox News and began to discuss matters pertaining to the election, Baier stopped him and made him acknowledge the truth.

Baier: “You and I had an interesting interview prior to January 6th you were getting ready to challenge election results. Today, can you definitively say that Joe Biden is the legitimately elected President and the election was not stolen?”
Hawley: “Yes, I’ve said Bret, that I think President Biden is the duly-elected President of the United States. That became official when we certified late in the night on January 6th those election results…”

NPR reports that Hawley later justified his objection by saying that many people in Missouri had contacted him to express concerns about election integrity, and that objecting to the electoral vote was just a way of speak[ing] on their behalf.”

4. It appears their strategy of claiming election stolen does not poll well with their voters?

They are all beginning to change their tune. I heard McCarthy say the same thing a couple of days ago.

This is another sign that they are dropping the Big Lie.
- McCarthy did the same thing Wednesday .
-The audits in AZ and proposed in other states are embarrassing failures.
-The GOP can’t stop the Capitol insurrection investigation or sabotage it.
-can’t get Trump to focus on future elections.
-polls show support from the base falling , rally attendance falling.
-GOP can’t whitewash the insurrection- the truth is on tape. We saw it for ourselves.
- all of these tell-all books quote reputable staff and there are more coming.
- more damaging leaks everyday, old staff is becoming courageous and talking.
- Liz Cheney beat Gym Jordan’s ass on the house floor.
- Most of the charges on the insurrectionist result in guilty pleas.

But they’ve shown themselves to be cowards unwilling to stand up to a bully who is directly responsible for killing 100s of thousands of US citizens. If only people would stop listening to what politicians say and look at what they do.

my feeling that rump was trying to steal the election results and that Pres. Biden won, fair and square. He's a pig and certainly not one to represent a majority of Missourians.

Personally, I think he's going to think that crap doesn't stick to him and he's going to run for president one day too. That's why he's so full of himself. Kind of makes me puke in my mouth and personally, I think he's tainted himself pretty badly w/ trump's stink.

One day, soon, anybody w/ a trump stink will all run scurrying into the darkest corners that they can find, when more and more of trump's stink/illegal actions comes popping out, as recent revelations are starting to reveal.
