"SNIP.....

Most House Republicans remained loyal to former President Donald Trump when he was impeached for his actions leading up to, and during, Jan. 6, and the vast majority of Republican senators voted to acquit him of the impeachment articles. But the 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach Trump are still raising plenty of campaign cash.

Reps. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) and Adam Kinznger (R-Ill.) have been the most vocal House Republicans to speak out against Trump and House Republican leadership. Cheney was voted out of House leadership — Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) replaced Cheney as House GOP Conference chair — in May for refusing to stop criticizing the former president.

But vocally rejecting Trump’s election lies seems to be a money maker for the congresswoman. Cheney raised about $1.9 million in the second quarter, according to her July Federal Election Commission filing. That haul brings her election cycle total to $3.5 million (Cheney raised $1.5 million in the first quarter).

.....

Cheney won her 2020 reelection bid with more than 68% of the vote, and Trump carried Wyoming with nearly 70% of the vote. However, some House Republicans, including Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.), promised to campaign for Republican challengers to Cheney.
