Black Rifle Coffee Company courted the MAGAts.But now they are socially distancing themselves from them, and are now facing a backlash.
This is what happens when you decide to appeal only to a certain political base.

And everyone else hated them already.

(47,282 posts)What is wrong with these people?
Meanwhile, it is almost always a bad business practice to get involved in politics or religion. It rarely ends well.

Killing animals W/O harvesting the meat is just wrong for several reasons.

(32,932 posts)I enjoyed it, the blend was good. I did not know their politics until I saw them mixing with that killer Rittenhouse. Now, it won't be in my kitchen again, there are many good small independent coffee companies. Using my invisible hand of the free market.

(21,529 posts)MAGAts are OUTRAGED by anyone that talks about politics, usually because anyone with a brain between their ears doesn't have anything nice to say about them. MLB moving the ASG, celebrities speaking out for LQBTQ rights, etc etc...
but when a company comes along and says "hey, if we fly a flag and GET POLITICAL for drumpf, we have a base of absolute lemmings that will throw themselves of a cliff for us." NOW it is okay to "get political" for a company, so says the MAGAts.
Which makes it even more stupid that these people ruined their own business model LOL. Hope they go bankrupt, and take hobby lobby with you

(2,193 posts)Starbucks should not be considered anything short of a nasty monopoly with crappy behaviors in their history of rising to the top through bullying and political hardball.
I support indies, not Starbucks.
K&R for this post, however.

Eric J. LeGrand (born September 4, 1990) is a former American football defensive tackle who played college football at Rutgers. He became paralyzed while making a tackle in an October 2010 game, but has since regained movement in his shoulders and sensation throughout his body. As of 2020, LeGrand has been making constant recovery in the Kessler Institute of Rehabilitation.[1] The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed him to a symbolic contract as an undrafted free agent in May 2012. In 2017, LeGrand was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as the third recipient of the Warrior Award.

Eric LeGrand tried his very first cup of coffee last August. Later this year, the former Scarlet Knights football player is opening LeGrand Coffee House in his hometown of Woodbridge, New Jersey. Although he took a quick liking to coffee, the impetus for opening his café is his desire to create the vibe where people feel welcome to hang out and enjoy some conversation and coffee. He calls the setting the third place, a destination that isnt home and isnt work. LeGrand SAS14, who was paralyzed in 2010 making a tackle, opened an online store for his coffee products in January. A football analyst on Scarlet Knights radio broadcasts and public speaker, he remains an inspiration for his unfailing optimism and charitable contributions through Team LeGrand, which works with the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation to support research and quality-of-life initiatives for people with spinal cord injuries. Coffee. Comfort. Satisfaction.
LeGrand Coffee House will be located at 10 Green Street in Eric LeGrands hometown of Woodbridge, New Jersey. Scheduled to open in late summer or early fall of 2021, we will be sourcing extraordinary coffees from a local roaster and serve traditional baked goods and food items. We will also prepare traditional coffee beverages to the highest standards, and we will serve those beverages in an inviting space that encourages our customers to socialize and relax.
With that said, we did not want to make you wait to get a taste of what we are brewing at LeGrand Coffee House! We are very pleased to already have a variety of our coffees available now through our online shop. No matter where you are in the United States (sorry, no international orders), you can have our savory and aromatic coffees delivered right to your front door.
