1. My family member returned to church a month ago and the pastor

actually told them to remove their masks so he could see their smiles! 😮 Needless to say they did not return. Crazy..

and while they are back in person, they offer online and that's what I'm doing. I am not yet comfortable in crowds. I wouldn't be surprised if they go back to only virtual services soon.

And mandate it for all federal employees or anyone receiving federal funding of any type....with continued funding dependent upon requiring all employees to be vaccinated

4. Last weekend, I was at two funerals..

One, a big Catholic funeral in my city. My state is about 45% vaccinated, but my county and zip code are much higher. I think my zip code is over 80%. Even though I know the whole family of the deceased are vaccinated and live in the 80% area, I wore my mask in the church. I was one of only two people to mask.

The next day, we traveled a couple hours away for a family funeral. Again, the area of the county has a high vaccination rate. I know everyone who can be vaccinated is vaccinated in this large family, but there are about a dozen under 12s, and family from many other states. Regardless, I didn’t mask. Honestly, it was all so chaotic from the moment we arrived that by the time I thought of it, I had been around these people over an hour, and it seemed like a moot point.

I’m day six past exposure and feeling fine, but I’m still crossing my fingers for a few more days. And thanking Pfizer.
