Given there is so much going on in the US and abroad along so much important legislation being worked on, do anyone think that the August congressional recess should shorted, postponed or even skipped all together?

Its the time that congress gets out and meet constituents and fundraise.

after the congress critters get back from that, it'll be time for the thanksgiving recess, the xmas recess, and a nap for them.

3 weeks instead of 6.
Speaker Pelosi and Majority Leader Schumer can do it. Let the Republicans piss and moan. Legislation needs to get passed.

My guess is most of them spend it vacationing or fund raising.
