But they also noted how he boarded a bus in his hometown of Tampa bound for a Jan. 6 Trump rally carrying rope, protective goggles and latex gloves in a backpack saying that demonstrated he came to Washington prepared for violence."
Rope? Goggles? Gloves? I don't know how it can be argued that he got caught up in the moment when he brought those items with him.
Well, at least he's going to have a felony on his record forever, and prison will suck, even for just 8 months. I'm sure this also cost a lot in legal fees. So there's that.
