Citing “discrimination,” Rep. Mo Brooks on Monday urged President Biden to overrule Fort Rucker’s decision requiring people to wear masks on the Alabama base if they are not vaccinated against COVID-19.
“Our soldiers should not be intimidated or coerced by the government into taking an experimental shot that has death and other ill-effect risk associated with it,” Brooks, a Republican from Huntsville, wrote to Biden.

The congressman also suggested, without evidence, that it may be proven that wearing a mask is harmful.
“Masks have small fibers that regularly loosen and are lodged in users’ lungs. Some masks have inks and dyes which, when consumed by lungs, have unknown cancer and other health risks,” Brooks wrote.
“Certainly, all or almost all masks reduce oxygen intake into the human body, with all the risks this imposes. There is also the unknown risk that, in the heat and humidity of summers in the South, heat stroke risks increase among mask wearers.”

to protect themselves from hazardous chemical dust and particulates and as previously mentioned, the millions in the regular and emergency medical fields protecting themselves from all sorts of communicable diseases.
Of course, Brooks will also never discuss the fact that all Americans are exposed daily to particulates from industry and vehicle emissions or that millions of workers that should wear PPE are not supplied it by their employers.
