I'm okay with space exploration regardless of funded and coordinated by a billionaire.

Better uniforms, too.

Instead of billionaires, I wish it were united world governments propelling us to space, but I'll take what I can get.

We can do better with the funding we don’t have to spend on this. The whole thing is awesome. I bet people were so excited when the Wright Brothers started too.

who together have 7 children and already two great grand children. They are all very successful in careers that improve the world around them. I live on an organic farm, raise most of my own food, and have accomplished most everything I have ever wanted to do. All without harming or pissing off too many people.
My accomplishments are not measured by what others think of me.

I think the situations of the past decade and the world we are currently facing is wearing me down.
I try to remember what it means to be a "billionaire" and the possible responsibilities and possibilities that may come with such a blessing.
You can count to a thousand in about 17 minutes.
You will reach 1,000,000 in about 11 1/2 days
You will need over 32 years to top a billion.
My thoughts have always been that if you find yourself with a billion to spare and you do not go out each day and make the world a better place, you are insane.
I was very impressed by the special award JB created and the good that will come of it and I certainly recognize the advancements to science and humanity that space exploration have brought us thus far.
Maybe he should have used Steve Millers "space cowboy" theme, that would have impressed me even more.
And even more impressed if he had housed only one homeless family instead of blowing a hole in the ozone.

No big fan of Bezos as a employer but if I had the bucks I’d certainly buy myself a seat.
