From the stories of sports players to the tx Dems and delta variant covid, that the vaccines are seemingly less likely to prevent infection. Way less than what they were originally stating.

Vaccinated people in close distance without a mask are at pretty good risk of contracting the virus.

I know, I know, I know less likely to have severe symptoms or die.

But a mask mandate would help. But the CDC screwed the pooch on it.

1. Yeah, I wonder what happened...

one day you need to wear a mask, the next day you don't. I guess they made the decision based on the vaccination rates? Maybe thought they'd just keep up the same pace. We never stopped wearing our masks. This is my first pandemic experience, with a new virus. Does anyone know how it's going to keep mutating, or what the long-ranging effects will be? I don't think so. I also don't think any mandate will help at all, with anti-maskers, anti-vax'ers. Would be too much to ask people to do the right thing, so, 'masks are us' It's been going on far too long for me to give a damn. We were told when we got our vaccines, that we'd need a booster, and not to laminate our cards. That should have been a give-away that more was on the way.
