On "red flag warning" day with fire in MArkleeville and just heard sirens nearby

...don't mind me, Im just gonna cry because I love my damn forest and think about all the anomals and people and trees over there nearby on fire...and I worry about stupid tourists in my neighborhood who dont know NOT to light a fire...

I guess Im kinda on edge...

The Tamarack Fire is still 0% contained and has crossed the Nevada state line heading east towards hwy 395
My folks are a bit north in Gradnerville. In their 80s, not very "cognizant" shall we say... I sogned them and me up for alerts so if they get pinged, I do too... Even if I cant GET over the mountain, I can still call them and hopefully mobilize my sister from Reno area.

Sirens no more nearby, probably just a house medical call...

but yeah, Im a little jumpy

It is terrifying seeing the alerts and the fire weather. We all know how vulnerable we are. Stay safe
