which is the House's only routine job apart from oversight (impeachment and amendments being non-routine), would be so embarrassing to the majority of voters to be represented by such a fool that it would be disqualifying. But not in her district, apparently.

(of course I don't grant her the presumption of mere ignorance, purposeful falsehoods are also highly probable -- but ignorance is the likely go-to claim of any apologist rather than flat-out admitting she is knowingly deceptive, so we can grant the ignorance premise and still note how aberrant her representation is, or ought to be)

Secondly, voluntarily disclosing your own information is not a violation of HIPAA.

The only way it would violate HIPAA is if someone else who has access to your medical records gave out that information without your express permission to do so. I'd castigate her for lying, but it's entirely possible she really is that stupid.
